Prof. Dr. Michael Feindt
Founder & Chief Scientific Advisor
Prof. Dr. Michael Feindt is the brain behind Blue Yonder. His NeuroBayes algorithm was developed during his many years of scientific research at CERN. Michael is also a professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, and a lecturer at the Data Science Academy.
Recent scientific work incorporating the largest data quantities in the world motivated me to find out if Blue Yonder could bring the same added value to business – with impressive results.

Uwe Weiss is Blue Yonder’s visionary leader. His objective is to bring together world-class data science and premier standard enterprise software. He is a passionate software entrepreneur with a notable and successful track record. Among other companies, Uwe co-founded the European leader in B2B software Crossgate AG, which was acquired by SAP in 2011.

Jan Karstens is the technical innovator and forward thinker at Blue Yonder. He is responsible for product and technology development of the real-time adaptive enterprise applications. He has more than 15 years experience in the computer industry, focusing on industry-specific solutions and modern database technologies. Before Blue Yonder, he worked in leading positions at SAP and Lufthansa.
It′s really rewarding to find solutions to business problems and Blue Yonder uses such fantastic technology.
Markus Juhr-De Benedetti
Chief Revenue Officer (Europe)
Markus Juhr-De Benedetti is driving Blue Yonder’s rapid, scalable international growth. He’s an expert in the globalization of software companies, specializing in key customer acquisition and company expansion. He has worked for a number of organizations, including Oracle, CSC, Crossgate AG (acquired by SAP) and Acrolinx.
Bringing together Blue Yonder’s unique data-science expertise and our customers’ business challenges is an exciting task, which I’m delighted to take on.
Chief Financial Officer
Adam Conlon is responsible for Finance and HR at Blue Yonder. Adam has been a highly successful CFO with more than 10 years experience in accounting and finance, including the CFO role at Thinkstep AG. At PwC, he provided financial due diligence services to private equity clients. Adam is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Alex L. Siskos is Blue Yonder's resident retail analytics authority. He is an inventive business leader with more than two decades of orchestrating and delivering insight-driven growth solutions for top-tier retail and consumer brands. Using foresight and collaboration, Alex has been successful in leading and developing world-class organizations with industry recognized accomplishments in retail, consulting services and market research.

Dr. Rainer Hillebrand
Vice Chairman of the Executive Board Otto Group
Dr. Rainer Hillebrand has been Vice Chairman of the Executive Board Otto Group since 2007. He is responsible for the Otto Group’s major fields of corporate strategy, e-commerce and business intelligence. Before joining the Otto Group in 1990, he was a freelance business and media consultant. In 1999, he was promoted to the Otto Group Executive Board and has been responsible for e-commerce since then. From 2005 until 2012 he was spokesperson for the single company OTTO Management Board. Since relinquishing his operational tasks on the board in 2012, Dr. Hillebrand has dealt with IT as a strategic factor for success and continues to further expand the Group’s digitization activities.

Dr. Michael Feindt is Professor of Physics at the Description: Quote: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and lecturer at the Data Science Academy. During his longstanding research at CERN, he developed the NeuroBayes algorithm, on which the entire Blue Yonder service portfolio is based. As a physicist and expert in the area of data science, he is engaged in numerous international research projects, including the CDFII experiment at Fermilab (Chicago/USA), as well as the Belle and Belle II experiments at KEK (Japan).
Dr. William (Bill) Janeway

Dr. Janeway has more than 30 years experience in finance, investment banking and private equity. In addition to his current role at Warburg Pincus, he is a director of Magnet Systems, Nuance Communications, O’Reilly Media and Roubini Global Economics. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Cambridge in America, University of Cambridge and a founding member of the Board of Managers of the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance (CERF). Additionally, Dr. Janeway is a member of the Board of Directors of the Social Science Research Council, the Board of Governors of the Institute for New Economic Thinking and the Board on Science Technology and Economic Policy of the National Academy of Sciences. His book, “Doing Capitalism in the Innovation Economy: Markets, Speculation and the State” (Cambridge University Press, 2012), was critically acclaimed and named one of the "Best Economics Books of the Year" by the Financial Times.
Managing Director Warburg Pincus
René Obermann joined Warburg Pincus in 2015 and focuses on investments in the global Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was CEO of Ziggo BV in the Netherlands until its merger with Liberty Global’s UPC. Mr. Oberman worked at Deutsche Telekom Group from 1998 until 2013. After running the mobile division of DT (T-Mobile International), he was appointed as CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG in November 2006, where he remained until December 2013. His success began when he founded a company in the telecommunications sector prior to joining Deutsche Telekom. Currently, he also serves as a Supervisory Board member at E.ON, ThyssenKrupp and Spotify.

Paul Wahl has held a number of senior executive roles in major enterprise software businesses and possesses extensive knowledge of global marketing and operations expansion. Until March 2003, he served as President and COO of Siebel Systems Inc. Prior to that, he was CEO of SAP America, Inc. and was an Executive Board member of SAP AG. During his eight year tenure at SAP, he oversaw operations in North, South and Central America, as well as global marketing and partner relationships. He was responsible for introducing R/3 worldwide and grew SAP America, Inc. to be the most profitable division of the world-renowned software company. Paul has served on the Board of Directors at Lawson Software, ICWAG and Causata Inc.

Caroline Watteeuw is an experienced business executive with an in-depth understanding of complex technology and information security functions. She is an award-winning innovator who is credited with creating one of the top IT innovation centers in the US and has a proven track record of building outstanding IT organizations capable of delivering large, complex transformational projects with a sustainable business advantage. At Warburg Pincus, she is Vice President of the Information Technology Strategy & Assessment (ITSA) group. In addition to her role at Warburg Pincus, Ms. Watteeuw is a Member of the Board of Directors at Capgemini. Until 2013, she was Chief Technology Officer of PepsiCo, where she concentrated on the introduction of advanced digital media and mobile platforms integrated with real-time data analytics.
