FOCUS Digital Star innovation award
In January 2013, Blue Yonder was honored with the FOCUS Digital Star innovation award. The award, presented in three categories by FOCUS at the DLD technology conference, acknowledges and promotes digital innovation within German companies demonstrating promising business models or new technology developments. The goal is to have Germany viewed as an important global player for new technology developments based on the local digital economy and to later incorporate industries such as automotive and medicine. The award recognizes current digital innovation made in Germany that demonstrates the ability to create jobs and the ability to be successful at an international level.
Finalist "Entrepreneur of the Year 2012"
Ernst & Young organizes the "Entrepreneur of the Year" corporate competition worldwide in more than 50 countries. A neutral jury selects winners in five categories. Entrepreneurial top performance is identified and honored with this award. The competition is supported by DZ BANK, Jaguar, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and "Manager" magazine.
bwcon Hightech Award:
1st place in the Growth category
The Cyberone Award is the most important technology prize for business in Baden Württemberg; it has been presented for future-oriented business concepts, applications, and solutions since 1998. The prize is awarded to companies in the categories Growth, Start-up, and Special Prize of the State of Baden Württemberg. Blue Yonder won in the Growth category, prevailing over 35 other companies this year.
Commendation from the Deutsche Börse Group
In June 2012, during the presentation of the CyberOne awards, Blue Yonder was distinguished with a special award from the Deutsche Börse Group. In particular, the organization honors the innovative approach and the large potential for international growth within a company.
Retail technology award: Best Enterprise Solution for Blue Yonder customer OTTO
At EuroCIS 2012, renowned EHI Retail Institute awarded multi-channel retailer OTTO with the retail technology award europe for the category “Best Enterprise Solution”. The company was given the accolade for using the NeuroBayes Predictive Analytics Suite to create sales predictions. When compared against previous forecasting approaches that were formed merely on the basis of planners’ experiences, the quality of the results achieved increased by 20 to 40 percent.

Top Retail Product 2011/2012
Intelligent hardware and software solutions, services, devices and tools are what sets modern retailers apart. The industry chooses its favorite retailers as part of the “Top Retail Product“ (“Top Produkt Handel“) competition. After winning Bronze in the Process Optimization category in 2011 the reader of the magazine „handelsjournal“ named in 2012 NeuroBayes with the silver medal in the category Cost Effectiveness.
Cyberchampions Award: 1st Place Among High Potentials
The annual CyberChampions contest is aimed at high-tech entrepreneurs and looks to honor young, expanding companies based in and around the Karlsruhe technology region. The contest focuses on the level of innovation, market opportunities and entrepreneurial spirit shown by a company. Blue Yonder impressed the jury with their unique software solution, outstanding team of individuals, and business model.
Innovationspreis-IT: Best of 2012
The Initiative Mittelstand awards the Innovationspreis-IT to companies with innovative IT solutions that provide great benefit to medium-sized companies. Our product won the jury over and is thus in the top group, selected from more than 2,500 applications submitted.

Data Mining Cup
The Data Mining Cup is the largest student competition relating to intelligent data analysis and strives to combine and complement both theory and praxis. Young predictive analytics specialists have already been able to lift this coveted trophy on three separate occasions with the help of NeuroBayes. As part of this data mining competition – which is the largest and most prestigious of its kind across the globe – up and coming scientists are asked to develop an optimized analysis model with the aim of predicting a question posed by the organizers as accurately as possible.
